VACATION FUN BEGINS

Friday marks the start of our vacation and I'm sure none of you will be surprised when I say it was off to the "cottage" we go.

They are all 'hooked' now & need to go fishing again!

Welcome back to Canada Carlos (the Sherren's foreign exchange student). Jiffy Pop popcorn & 'white sweets on a stick' are a treasured favourite.





And if you think we finally tuckered these guys out, you've got to be kidding...psych!





CRAFTS
The next day the boys got Carlos to show them some really cool soccer moves and then did this awesome craft with Thomas before he had to go. Thanks so much Leader Debbie, the foam fish pictures. Will be sure to find a spot in the cottage to proudly display them.



We even had a mini birthday celebration with the Sherren's on Sunday for Daddy. Spencer made an extra special card for Daddy O from himself and Curtis and the Sherren's surprised Daddy with a much needed cheese grader and a citronella candle. How did they know?! (Oh & Mommy & the boys got him a GPS)

It was sad to see everyone pack up on Sunday but really cool to be able to hang out at the cottage for an extra day. Monday was super muggy so once again trips to the beach was on the menu. It was a great way to keep cool and get even more excited about our trip to NY!
