End of '08-'09 Hockey Season

The hockey season finally winds up. Curtis gets a chance to play goal in a game before the championship game. Although he looks great and has fun, let's just say he is much better for the team out on the ice!

It was a great game. The kids played hard and did really well all season long! Curtis is becoming a real pro at getting goals!

Spencer plays Goal - Shutout!!

Spencer loves playing goal & does it exceptionally well. He had one of the Team's only shut out games this season...wait for the team pile-on at the end of the game!

Spencer's Championship Game - What a nail-biter!!!

Spencer's team went from last place to a playoff for the championship game. It was an "on the edge of your seat" game. The teams were very evenly matched but unfortunately they lost it in the end by one goal. They played amazingly and had a blast doing it! What a comeback!

Great Wolf Lodge

One of our Christmas presents was a weekend at Great Wolf Lodge and this is the weekend!!! We were all pumped because we had heard so many amazing things about this fantastic indoor water park and with this seeming like such a very long winter already, we were more than ready for a little get away.

We went with the Sherren Family and were ready for some real fun. Unfortunately our Saturday was a but of a bust as the water park kept having to close things down temporarily. We managed threw it but didn't make for a very fun day as we didn't get on any water slides and the rest of the park was very crowded as a result.

Our last day ended up being a better day. We got to go on some water slides and do some more stuff. It was a nice get away but don't think we would go back there the next time we wanted to get away from it all.

Spencer Turns 8!

The theme this year was glow-in-the-dark rock climbing! There were different levels and different themes for the kids and it was looked at with much enthusiasm...
