Kids Golf at the Camp

The boys entered into the golf tournament at the camp for the 2nd year in a row.  They both placed 3rd in their age group but had more fun that ever.

Andreas Visits

It was great to have long-time friend Andreas up to the camp this weekend.

There was much sparring where Curtis kept trying to get Andreas down (without success)

and some where Curtis and Spencer would try and Andreas would watch and giggle!

some movies (yes Andreas, I have the camera out again)

some target shooting with the new home made sling shots

Then came Customer Appreciation Day & some other kind of fun ensued!

I'm not sure what Curtis did to deserve this but he looks happier than Dad

Sarah got a Princess crown to go with her Princess pose...perfection!

Joe & Keith decided the kids were having way too much fun so had to try the balloon game

Joe was right behind him...boy did they feel cooler afterwards though!

We even won 1st prize in one category, and received runner up with a number of other photos, in the camps first ever photo contest.  The prize was an ice cream party for your camp site served up by the staff of the camp!  We can't wait to plan that for all of our friends :)

We were all 'tickled pink' with our great weekend filled with good friends and tons of fun.

Xmas in Aug?!!

It's really hard to believe it's that time of year again at the camp but we pulled out all the bins and really got into the spirit this year.  I even donned my Xmas jammies (thankfully no pictures of that) to put us over the top and won us 1st prize!!

- no A/C for us until the judges would leave :)

In addition to Xmas, there was a corn roast, street dance, pancake breakfast and Summer Fun event at the beach.  There were all sorts of games and a water slide.  The kids really enjoyed it and it is always a blast to watch.

What a great super long weekend!  So hard to believe the summer is half over already!!
