Christmas & New Years 2010

It is hard to believe another year is over already. Wishing you all a very happy holiday and all the best in 2011! Santa was certainly lighter when he left our house!!

Winter Camping Fun

Not typically my thing to go winter camping but I got talked into going with the boys and did we ever have a blast. The weather was great and the boys got to go ATVing, skating, skiing, snowboarding and even some relaxing by the fire. Our nights ended cuddled up in bed watching some movies. It was really great that Steve & Sarah came to join in the fun too!

Annual NOTL

It is the first weekend in December and we are off for our annual trip to Niagara-on-the-Lake! We are making our first stop at the Christmas Store where we all pick out our special decorations and get our names and the year put on them. Santa is walking the store and making sure all the girls and boys are going to be on their best behaviour for his visit in a few weeks. It is all very exciting.

We continue on and check out other stores, get our ceremonial hot chocolate and then continue on to the other side of the street. The weather is a bit brisk so we don't take too long any where. We make sure we get our annual sun glasses and a few other bibs and bobs and then we are off to find a play ground to let the kids and dog run (and boy does the dog run!!)After getting out run several times by Cookie, it is time to head into the falls for some good eats at the Space Ship restaurant and then it's time to call it a day.
